The Regional Representative is responsible for assisting in the execution of the marketing plan that is developed by the Director of MCRS. This includes initiating and maintaining relationships in an assigned territory for the purposes of producing referrals for admission into Youth Villages programs.
Conduct market research, analyze results and develop sales plan
Pursue private insurance referrals through informational meetings, open houses, trade and agency shows and establishing relationships with psychologists, psychiatrists, employee assistance people, insurance carriers, mental health centers, school groups, community groups, juvenile court personnel, human service workers and social workers
Market all Youth Villages' services, continually learn about Youth Villages' programs, acquire more selling skills, and keep abreast of competition
Manage a large base of diverse referral sources; visit each, one to four times a month (as deemed necessary) and understand each referral source's problems and needs. Respond to customer service needs and monitor customer satisfaction
Meet or exceed census goals
Identify key state-level contacts for the purpose of assessing state-wide mental health services and the needs of children and families in assigned territory
This position will work out of the Inner Harbour Residential Campus in Douglasville, GA
Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (mental health, social services, or marketing) or commensurate experience
Two years mental healthcare marketing experience preferred
Must be highly organized with excellent verbal, written, and computer skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must be able to effectively deal with multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Must Possess a valid state-issued Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to travel extensively on a regular basis
